Accommodating up to 16* people, this 5,000 square foot Victorian home was built within a genuine turn-of-the-century post and beam barn. Exposed barn beams, towering ceilings and old-fashioned charm deliver a first rate vacation home. Not to worry, we’ve kicked out the cows and created a gorgeous, elegant residence!

 

It’s a golfer’s delight! Privately sharing 1300 feet of frontage directly on a family friendly golf course overlooking the green fairways, we offer golf course and golf school packages. This is a great opportunity to improve your golf game or to teach the spouse or a few of the kiddies how to master the game. Hit the links every day and then come back for a relaxing soak in the hot tub under a clear starry sky or just enjoy the quite ambience from the porch or patio overlooking the fairways.

 

Located just 1.5 miles from downtown Traverse City, you’re minutes from shopping and fine dining. For the summer months you’re less than 2 miles from the sugar sand beaches of West Bay, as well as hiking and biking trails. In the winter, enjoy cross country skiing and snow shoeing right out the front door or head off to several fantastic ski slopes in the area, including The Homestead, Crystal Mountain, Holiday Hills and the ever popular Hickory Hills. We’re also in close proximity to several area casinos. Travel north along gorgeous Grand Traverse Bay to reach Leelanau Sands Casino or head east along the Bay until you reach Turtle Creek Casino. And don’t forget, you’re in wine country. Journey along the rolling hills and winding roads of Leelanau County or travel up Old Mission Peninsula and you’re certain to come across a winery or two. Taste test a few of our area wines and we dare you not to leave town without buying a bottle!

 

For those days and nights your group longs to just stay at home, take advantage of the two cozy dens complete with cable TV, DVD, wireless broadband internet, a billiard/card room for the adults, a family game room to entertain the kids, a fitness center for working up a sweat and a sun-drenched enclosed porch for a relaxing spot to read the morning paper or dine in the fall, spring or summer.

 

On the main level there is a large master suite with queen bed overlooking the golf course that includes a private on suite bedroom that will sleep three of the children. Upstairs there are three private bedrooms and 2 full baths, featuring king, queen and double beds complete with dressers, chairs, linens, and views overlooking the estate. Also, two children can sleep on the two 1960’s retro sofas in the den. The upstairs also features a "bunk-house" with a queen bed, bunk beds, and a twin bed that adjoins the family recreation room.

 

This is a wonderful setting for your large family gatherings: reunions, weddings, holiday festivities and more. Have the party here! The grounds can accommodate up to 60 vehicles and plenty of room for several RV’s. There is plenty of space inside and out to cater your special event.

*Due to some capacity issues we are going to limit the total number of guests to sixteen (16) (except with special exceptions for small children and/or babies).

**Holidays: Memorial Day, 4^th of July, Labor Day, Cherry Festival and Film Festival $550 per evening

***Available for the Thanksgiving Holiday, Christmas and New Years. Other winter dates can be accommodated by special request.
